French Camouflage Helmet Scrim

These are surplus camouflage helmet nets. I think these are most interesting due to their ability to be modernized to fit new helmets. As a side project I decided to upgrade one to fit a ballistic fast helmet- It worked wonderfully. I started by adding brown and tan with spray paint, and then added strips of burlap in a ww2-esque style. I am very pleased with how it turned out, and even without the burlap and paint they do a great job at masking the shape.
