Description
By far one of the best surplus items available. Extremely durable and warm, the M51 has been equipping outdoorsmen for decades. We have quite a few of these still unsorted, so we will be gradually updating this page as we make our way through more and more of these.
These OG wool shirts were first issued in 1951 and remained in use to the 1990s. Two pockets, and buttoned to close (with button cuffs) these wool shirts are extremely warm, durable, and comfortable. A must have for any outdoorsmen, quality wool items are getting expensive and harder to get. Because these are an older item, the fit will be slightly different than what you may be used to. Because pants were higher waisted, these are shorter than modern shirts, but still as functional as they were in 1951.
Because these were in use so long, the one you will receive may be a little different- I.E. it could have a name tape or some other minor change.
Grade A: May contain minor pin holes but nothing bigger all are in relatively great shape
Grade B: Contains small-medium size holes and sections of wear from use as well as patching work from its service life, good condition
Grade C: Contains pinky size holes or slightly large but all very repairable.
