The Gorka is a windproof suit made from tent canvas, with NYCO ripstop reinforcements. They are meant to be loose fitting and is suitable for multiple climates. The design dates back to the Soviet Union, when mountain suits (gorkas) were issued to forces in Afghanistan based off previous miners uniforms.
