ALICE, or All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment, was a load-bearing system used by the United States military from the 1970s until the early 2000s.
What's so great about alice?
ALICE webbing was designed to be lightweight yet strong enough to carry heavy loads. Even though it's been phased out in favor of more advanced systems like MOLLE, ALICE gear is still in use by some foreign military units and fan favorite among collectors and avid outdoorsman.
